At the recent San Diego Comic-Con 2022 event, Marvel Studios revealed a series of new projects for the MCU in the next 3 years.
Up to now, many MCU phase 4 films have well exploited the multiverse theme and the risks and dangers contained within it.
Secret Wars in the original comics
The first Secret Wars series was published by Marvel Comics in 1984 and was created by Jim Shooter, with illustrations by Mike Zeck and Bob Layton.
Despite such a simple plot, Secret Wars still made it to the list of best-selling series at that time, and then continued to be produced with an attractive sequel.
In 2015, Secret Wars was remade under the pen of Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic, but this time focusing on the collapse of the multiverse.

Secret Wars in the Marvel cinematic universe
