Explaining the Secret Wars event: The second most epic multiverse war in Marvel history 3
At the recent San Diego Comic-Con 2022 event, Marvel Studios revealed a series of new projects for the MCU in the next 3 years.
Up to now, many MCU phase 4 films have well exploited the multiverse theme and the risks and dangers contained within it.
Secret Wars in the original comics
The first Secret Wars series was published by Marvel Comics in 1984 and was created by Jim Shooter, with illustrations by Mike Zeck and Bob Layton.
Despite such a simple plot, Secret Wars still made it to the list of best-selling series at that time, and then continued to be produced with an attractive sequel.
In 2015, Secret Wars was remade under the pen of Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic, but this time focusing on the collapse of the multiverse.
A new Battleworld planet is established by combining different realities, and is maintained mainly by the magic of Doctor Doom – the self-proclaimed king of this place.
Secret Wars in the Marvel cinematic universe

Of course, we cannot rule out the possibility that Marvel Studios will follow a completely different idea from the original, like they did with Captain America: Civil War or Avengers: Age of Ultron.
