Batman will return as the God of Wisdom in DC’s new animated film, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (roughly translated: Justice League Dark: Apokolips War).
Not long ago, DC announced plans for a sequel to the Justice League Dark animated series called Apokolips War, scheduled to release next year.
We can see images of the lord of the planet Apokolips, the tyrant Darkseid.
Among these images, DC fans can recognize Batman with his signature Mobius chair when he became the God of Wisdom in the famous Darkseid War event in the comics.
Mobius attacks Metron, but the entity’s antimatter energy has no effect on the Mobius chair.
Later, when Grail and the Anti-Monitor traveled to Earth, Metron appeared, moving the Justice League through Shazam’s Cave of Eternity and convincing them to take their loved ones from Earth to avoid the devastation of the war.
Wonder Woman asked Metron how she could learn about the Anti-Monitor, and Metron replied: the only way was to take the Mobius chair away from him.
When the Mobius Chair began to disappear from reality, Batman quickly took the chair and sat on it, becoming a New God – the God of Wisdom.
At the end of this event, Batman and Green Lantern Hal Jordan travel to the Anti-Monitor’s antimatter universe and find the chair’s origin: it was built by the Anti-Monitor himself.
Not only is the New God Metron’s usual means of transportation, the Mobius chair is a powerful divine object with the ability to travel through space and time, while also helping its owner possess a huge source of knowledge.
In addition, the Mobius chair also has the ability to create illusions, move objects and use the chair’s fuel source, Element X, to move objects as large as an entire planet.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is expected to release in 2020.
